Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is crucial to upgrade your equipment to maximize your gearing potential. It allows you to add additional stats to the base value of your item.
Each upgrade template has several options that can be configured through the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the method of upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk has been reworked. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. When you select an item to upgrade it will show an overview of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, and the necessary component or item required. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item the button will read "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded as well as a few trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these are filled with various upgrades that offer bonus features or other effects while the equipment is being used. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchased from a seller, or looted or acquired as a reward.
There are two kinds of upgrades of upgrades: universal and gemstones. Universal upgrades that are similar to gemstones, can be put in any kind of equipment, and provide an inferior bonus than other upgrade components. They are simple to obtain by dropping them by enemies and taken from loot bins across the globe. Gems are, however can be obtained by disassembling objects or completing certain missions.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones within the slot of the weapon. However it will destroy any prior upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that can be added to gathering tools are not able to be removed from an item once they are placed. Infusions can be placed into legendary and ascended equipment. Enrichments are only obtainable using a high-end salvaging kit or upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
During the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources forced the world to recycle. Nowadays, it is commonplace to recycle things like paper, aluminum and plastic and give them a new purpose as something completely different. In fact, recycling reduces energy consumption and helps prevent carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. Recycling is an excellent method of avoiding landfills and conserving natural resources. It is important to know what items can be recycled.
People often make the mistake of putting the wrong things in the recycling bin. These materials not only pollute the water, but they could also harm recycling equipment. To avoid this, check the label and follow the rules of your recycling program. For item upgrading be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue needs to be disposed of in the trash. Plastic bags can get tangled in recycling machines and should be taken back to the supermarket for reuse. Other items that should be thrown in the trash include berry containers and food containers. Glass is the only exception, as it is a great material to build with.
When shopping for new items, it's important to look for the tag "Made with recycled content." This means that the item contains reclaimed materials from other products that have fulfilled their intended use. This makes them an green option than new items made from virgin materials. They are also less expensive than new ones.
You can recycle your old laptop, computer phone, tablet, or computer by taking it to a recycling facility. They'll reuse the material to make new electronic devices and other useful products. You could even earn money from some of these companies by donating old ones.
If you want your coworkers' recycling to be easier, make it standardized the colors of the bins and signage at your office. This will help reduce confusion and encourage participation. Also, ensure that you have a designated space for recycling in your office, such as an organized bin or box in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens offer you a second chance of rolling the dice to gain better stats or cooler powers. These tokens can be found in the mistery box, as an uncommon drop from skulled creatures or killed bosses. Each token takes one attribute point from damage and randomly transforms it into the new attribute. You can also reroll extras on objects, like regeneration and speed.
The additional features of an item increase with each level, however the amount they boost differs. The value of the extra is calculated as a percentage of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token may alter the value. Additionally, the item's recycle value also increases with every upgrade. Generally speaking, the value of an item's principal stat will increase by +3 with each level, while the value of its extras will fluctuate.
To roll an item again it is possible to click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. Alternatively, you can click the button in a different player's lobby and select "Reroll". After rerolling an item it will disappear from your inventory.
You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. By redeeming active codes, you will let you earn free rerolls on Fire Force Online. These codes can be redeemed for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are helpful in the early stages of the game, when you need to build your inventory and dungeon gear. They are not the most effective method of increasing your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on gaining more skill points. You can also get additional bonus points from the event stages.

You can also change your character's race using a race reroll token, which is available through the Zen Market. The token can be used by certain pack purchases, or the Token Shop. It allows you to change your character's race only once. It can also be redeemed as a reward for completing Meg's cases during the Port Sarim invasion event.
Leveling
Upgrading an item in an upgrade process boosts its stats and Power Level. It also increases the cost and the amount of materials needed to complete the upgrade. The type of material required depends on the item. For example, weapons make use of a combination of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor uses Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional materials can boost the chances of success, but it is not a guarantee.
The process of leveling utilizes a formula to determine the amount of damage or defense, magic attack or damage the upgraded item receives when it is upgraded. The formulas differ based on the type of weapon and rarity. In addition, there's a maximum level for each type of weapon.
When the item reaches its maximum level, the NPC will display an upgrade option that allows the player to use the item to gain experience and upgrade it to the next level. To make the most of this process, it is essential to make sure their gear has reached its maximum level before upgrading. They will save time and money by not wasting resources or experience that could have been used for other upgrades.
The NPC will display two lines while the upgrade is underway. The first line displays how many Tech Points the upgrade will give, while the second shows a preview of what the item will look like when it reaches its upgraded state. The preview won't be accurate for items with mods, but it can provide an idea of what to expect.
The NPC will display the cost to upgrade the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you have an Accelerator, it will include the cost. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They boost the Tech Points earned from upgrading by 50%. This bonus does not apply to an item's quality chance which is reset once the item reaches the mark level.
The Upgrade NPC offers a service for gear transfers. The Upgrade NPC will provide a transfer service for gear. This allows players to save their progress and experience on a piece and transfer it to another item in the same slot. This can be useful for players who wish to swap out their gear, but do not have enough money to buy a brand new set.
